Spooky Stairs

My mum-in-law lives in a really old house in Penang. On my first visit there, going up the stairs spooked me. It still does even today. This picture hopes to capture that feeling.

I think it captured pretty well with the sepia monotone. A photomanipulation of a shadowy figure on top of the stairs would add another touch, but you probably won't want to go to your mum-in-law's house anymore after that! ;)
